We’ll be playing a very special show Friday, January 27th at the Casbah in Hamilton. We will be recording a live album of some of the material off our last album as well as a few covers. The songs will then be mixed and released for free/donation based download on our site in order to help raise some cash for our new full length album we will be releasing this spring. We will also be playing a bunch of new tunes at this show so come on out.
Tickets are $10 and you will get a free band frisbee as well.
Also on the bill is our good pal Zachary Aasman and more TBA.
So we’ve got about a bunch of new material were working on, and currently trying to pear down to an album. Having a rehearsal/recording space has become infinitely handy in demoing pretty much whenever we feel like it. Our good friend Ryan Barwin is also back in town and it was good to jam with him last week. I’ll be heading to New York for most of this week, and then its right to recording for the new album when I return, the arrangements for the new tunes are sounding good and I can’t wait to get the new tunes out there. Peace out and an early Merry Christmas.

Here is a sample of a demo we recorded of one of our new song. This is one of the many new songs we’ve been working on for our new full length. Unfortunately Kendra wasn’t there and this is a take with no vocals, but it sounds pretty cool for a live off the floor recording in a 170 square foot room with 3 guitars, drums and bass mixed by our very own JD Norwood. Hope you dig it.
Also here is a download link for some free songs as well www.petevandyk.com/download.
